Vibration diagnostics

TCS HYDRO offers the following services:

• - Hydraulic unit vibration diagnostics.
• - Determination of vibration characteristics of the hydraulic unit mounting groups.
• - Determination of the vibratory displacement characteristic frequencies of the unit mounting groups, shaft run-out, amplitude-frequency analysis.
• - Vibration monitoring of hydraulic units as per requirements of national and international codes.
• - Rotor dynamic balancing, elimination of mechanical imbalance and compensation of electrical imbalance.
• - Vibration testing of penstocks and pre-turbine gate valves.

Based on the results of integrated tests the following operations are conducted:

• Determination of restricted, undesirable and safe operation areas as for loads and heads, and also the modes of the equipment optimum use;
• Diagnostics excluding the growth of various defects;
• Maintenance and overhaul schedule refinement, and their quality assessment.
